Hadleigh Junior School SPARK Values Identity

Hadleigh Junior School required a clear and engaging visual identity to bring five important school values together under the memorable SPARK name: Safety, Positivity, Accountability, Respect and Kindness. The objective was to create an approachable system that pupils, staff and families could understand easily, while maintaining a strong connection to the school’s established identity.

RLT Designs developed a structured circular emblem with the Hadleigh Junior School crest positioned at its centre. Five colour-coded sections surround the crest, combining clear typography, accessible icons and a supporting statement for each value. The balanced circular format gives every value equal importance while allowing the complete identity to remain recognisable across both large-format displays and smaller digital applications.

The completed SPARK identity is now used across the school’s website and throughout the physical school environment. From digital communication and learning materials to corridor graphics, signage and everyday staff touchpoints, the system provides a consistent visual reminder of the behaviours and shared values at the heart of school life.
